Founder & Principal Consultant

Hi, I'm Tealisha. I build the bridge.

I've spent more than 30 years in technology, eighteen of them at ALSAC. I started there on contract in 2008, came on staff the following year, and grew into Senior Director of Data and Analytics Enablement, leading the Data Governance and Privacy Operations office.

Here's what those years taught me: the hard part of governance isn't the framework. It's getting people to use it. I've seen good policies sit unread and good tools go unopened, not because they were wrong, but because nobody asked the people doing the work what would actually make their jobs easier.

So that's where I start. Before I write a policy, I sit with Legal and with IT. Before I roll out a tool, I find out what the analysts and volunteers closest to the data are up against. Every program I built that lasted, lasted because that work happened first. That's the bridge, and that's where the name comes from. I started the firm in 2026 to bring that same work to organizations that need senior experience without a full-time hire.

I care about mission-driven work. I'm also active in my own church community, so I know how much ministries accomplish with volunteers and small budgets.

I'm based in North Mississippi and work with organizations across DeSoto County and the Memphis area, and anywhere else by video and email. Every engagement is led by me personally. When a project calls for specialist help, I bring in trusted partners and tell you who they are.

Where I'm Strongest

The framework is the easy part.

Getting the whole enterprise to agree.

Governance decisions cross Legal, IT, Marketing, and Finance, and each one has a reason to say no. I've spent years finding the version everyone can live with, then getting it in writing so it holds.

Earning adoption, not mandating it.

A catalog nobody opens and a policy nobody reads cost more than they save. I work on what's in it for the people being asked to change, because that's what makes a program stick after the consultant leaves.

Proving it small before scaling it.

A new model is a hard sell in the abstract. Prove it on one domain people already care about, and the next one is easier.

How I Work

Good governance is mostly about people. Small steps beat the big leap.
