What does a fractional data and AI governance firm do?
We give your organization senior governance experience part-time, without a full-time hire. We assess where your data, privacy, and AI practices stand, write plain-language plans and guidelines, review policies, and help your team build the habits that keep data trustworthy.
Who do you work with?
Nonprofits, small businesses, churches and ministries, and larger organizations. The work is shaped to your size, from a church office run by volunteers to a large nonprofit with a data team.
Where are you located?
Bridgework is based in North Mississippi and works with organizations across DeSoto County and the Memphis area, and anywhere else by video and email.
How much does it cost?
Every engagement is scoped and quoted for your organization, so we don't list prices. If you're not sure where to start, tell us what's going on and we'll suggest a starting point. Many organizations begin with a one-time Governance Health Check.
Our staff are already using AI tools. Where should we start?
Start with simple guidelines for what information can and can't go into AI tools. AI Essentials Training gives your team a do's and don'ts guide and a starter list of everyday uses. For a broader view, the Governance Health Check covers AI practices alongside data and privacy.
Can you help us figure out which privacy rules apply to us?
Yes. Our founder led the team at ALSAC that prepared for the Colorado Privacy Act and turned that work into a shared set of core requirements, bringing seven states on board before their deadlines. We help organizations understand which privacy rules likely apply and build practical processes to meet them, working alongside your legal counsel.
Why do our reports never match?
It's the most common problem we see. Fixing it usually starts with a few plain questions: who owns this data, who gets to make decisions about it, and has anyone written that down? A Governance Health Check is a good way to find the answers.
Do you provide legal advice?
No. We help you understand your obligations and build the processes to meet them, and we work alongside your attorney when legal interpretation is needed.
